Abstract |
Abstract—This paper presents a novel matrix converter based topology with less number of semiconductor switches. The proper switching sequence of matrix converter is used to drive BLDC motor directly from single phase without dc link capacitor. A matrix converter fed BLDC motor is simulated in MATLAB.
