Abstract
Abstract—The authors proposed a mixed technique for reducing the order of the high order dynamic systems. In this technique, the denominator polynomial of the reduced order model is determined by using the modified Cauer form while the coefficients of the numerator are obtained by Factor Division Method. This technique is simple and gives stable reduced models for the stable high-order system. The proposed method is described by solving a numerical example taken from the literature.
