Abstract |
This paper provides an overview of a Hybrid Solar Photovoltaic (PV)-Wind System, which seeks to harness the benefits of both solar and wind energy to create a more dependable and efficient renewable energy solution. By integrating solar photovoltaic panels and wind turbines, the hybrid system achieves increased energy production, enhanced stability, and optimal resource utilization. Key components and operational aspects of the hybrid system, including integration strategies, power conversion, control mechanisms, and energy storage solutions, are discussed along with the simulated model. The study also explores the potential advantages of combining solar and wind energy, such as improved power generation throughout the day and year, minimized intermittency, and overall system efficiency enhancement. This paper underlines the environmental benefits of the hybrid system, emphasizing its role in curbing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and mitigating environmental impacts tied to conventional energy sources. Additionally, economic aspects like cost-effectiveness, payback periods, and potential financial incentives for adopting hybrid renewable energy solutions are addressed.
