Abstract
Amongst the most common problems faced by geotechnical engineers is slope failure and predicting it. It is not only a problem for engineers but also for the mine workers working there. The enduring nature of the earth and rock-fill dams, ridge, dredge slopes, and natural slopes in soil and rock are evaluated using a slope stability survey, a fixed and zestful, systematic, or practical method. Slope stability is the state of biased soil or rock slopes to resist or encounter gesticulation. Slopes, artificial or nature-made, can cause significant damage to humans and their lives. In this paper, we will see some of the modern approaches and software used by engineers to tackle this problem and get results with accuracy and speed. Keywords - Limit Equilibrium, Finite Element Method, Deep Learning, Factor of Safety
