Abstract
In this paper Principle Component of Edge Information approach for face recognition is discussed and analyzed. As per the literature survey and our knowledge there is a hardly reported research work on Edge information with PCA for face recognition. This idea of using Edge information with PCA algorithms for face recognition is a new approach and provides a different way of analyzing the results for face recognition. In this experimentation we have explored LOG edge detector with Eigen images for face recognition under variation of pose, illumination and facial expressions.
