Abstract |
This work is about study of different manet routing protocols and designing of a new protocol so that their performances can be compared based on certain parameters. Routing is a critical matter in MANET and hence the focus of this project is study of Manet and its features, characteristics , along with the performance analysis and comparison of routing protocols. A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is mostly explained as a network that has many free or autonomous nodes, often collected of mobile devices or other mobile pieces that can arrange themselves in various ways and operate without network administration. In the era of wireless devices, Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) has become an indivisible part for communication for mobile devices. In this paper we have discussed some basic routing protocols in MANET like Destination Sequenced Distance Vector, Dynamic Sourced Routing, and Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector etc. Furthermore we have designed a new protocol for comparative studying of different parameters.
