Abstract |
In this paper we present the novel idea of emotion conversion in speech signal using Discrete Wavelet Transform and Adaptive Filtering algorithm. Emotion conversion is a type of Voice Conversion. Due to its wide range of applications, there has been a considerable amount of research efforts directed at this problem in the last few years. The most common and obvious applications of the emotion conversion is Text To Speech Conversion where new and personalized voices can be created in a cost effective manner. Other applications could be security related usage, vocal pathology, voice restoration as well as games and other entertainment applications. | |||||||||
