Abstract |
The current study delineates the design and development of Smart Gas Leakage Detector (SGLD) that can be installed at homes, restaurants and the places where the LPG gas is being used. The SGLD is activated when there is a leakage of LPG gas. The system detects it and rotates the regulator knob through a special electro-mechanical arrangement. In addition, the SGLD enables the exhaust fan to evacuate the gas. The system is robust, affordable, user-friendly and needs least maintenance.
