Abstract |
Introduction: This study aims to investigate the relationship between networking behaviors and academics' career advancement in Iran. This survey was done among 307 academics employees who were selected randomly in the two public universities in Hamadan, Iran. Self-administered questionnaires were used to collect data including demographic characteristics, networking behaviors and career advancement. The linear regression model was applied to determine the best fitted model to predict career advancement. The results show that networking behaviors related to academic career advancement (p<0.05). Therefore, encouraging networking behaviors may be useful for increase academics career advancement. Keywords- Academics, Career advancement, Networking | |||||||||
