Abstract |
This article deals with a research in the field of production technology of 3D distance fabrics, which are structural elements of inflatable products, paddleboards, mattresses, walls of inflatable halls and emergency equipment. The technology is described in this paper. The aim of the work is the structural design development of new structural units and optimization of existing structural units of the production machine for the 3D distance fabrics (called DIFA2). These segments are the sewing units (new part of machine) and the distance mechanism with the pulling bar (existing part of machine). Modern simulation tools were chosen for the calculation and the frequency responses of the machine to the excitation forces were analyzed. To validate the calculations, a comparison was made with measurements on the machine. The stress and deformation response of the machine is analyzed as part of the calculations. Special emphasis is placed on minimizing machine deformation. This is important due to operation and accuracy. Oscillation analysis in the form of modal analysis was carried out in order to describe the behavior of the machine in operation. The result of the research is a suitable design procedure that can also be transferred to other applications. Keywords - 3D Distance Fabrics, Design, Finite Element Method, Structure, Weaving Machine. | |||||||||
