Abstract |
Abstract - Air is an unavoidable element for survival on this planet. The basic life force upon which all existences depend. Over the past few years, pollution of air is creating alarming circumstances over the globe specially in highly polluted cities like Delhi, India. This paper details the historical evolution and cause of air pollution problem. The policies, current measures and preventative approaches are deeply studied. The study identifies the importance and usability of technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in combating the problem through air quality forecasting. This helps us propose viable Machine Learning approaches for developing a custom air quality forecaster with Delhi region in focus.
