Abstract |
TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by a reverse micelle microemulsion method to control phase, size and shape by three selected surfactants, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and TritonX-100. The synthesized TiO2 nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM for observation of phase, size and shape. Different phases, types and shapes of TiO2 nanoparticles were successfully prepared under different kind of surfactant. For photocatalytic activity test with methylene blue degradation, high proportional anatase phase of the mixed phase TiO2 showed the greater MB degradation.
