Abstract |
Himachal Pradesh is a state prone to earthquakes and floods during rainfalls, due to which the agricultural land and private property gets damaged extensively due to the silt deposit. Hence we are modelling the river using HEC -RAS (hydraulic engineering Centre river analysis system) with the help of which we will simulate the river and extract the maximum velocity of the river and thus providing suitable river training measures in the form of dressed sloping banks, gabion wall and embankments’.
