Abstract
Mn and Co substituted ZnO particle synthesis was carried out by sol gel wet chemical precipitation route. The obtained Zn0.9Mn0.05Co0.05O powder was characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The pattern gets indexed in hexagonal structure and confirms the single phase material with no impurity. Substitution of Mn and Co in ZnO, small increases the lattice parameter. From Williamson-Hall plot the average particle size of the crystal is 26 nm and compressive strain is -0.0068.
