Abstract |
SEIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infectious-Recovered) model is used in many studies in disease transmission. Zika virus is a flavivirus. It can transmit to human through the bite of infected Aedes Aegypti mosquito or sexual transmission. In this study, we apply the SEIR model for describing the transmission of Zika virus. The sexual transmission of this virus is considered in this model. The model is analyzed by using standard dynamical modeling method.
