This study was carried out with the aim of assessing the knowledge and practice of breast self-examination among female undergraduate in Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ilesa Nigeria. A descriptive cross sectional design was used for the study. A structured questionnaire containing both closed and open ended questions was administered. A Total of 146 females were randomly selected from eight faculties of Joseph Ayo Babalola University Ilesa Nigeria. The data collected during the study was analyzed and presented in frequency tables and percentages. The study showed that 124 (84.9%) of the respondents have heard about breast self-examination but only 37 (24%) are knowledgeable about it, 94(64.4%) of the respondents practice BSF, but only 37 (25.35%) do it monthly. There is therefore disparity between knowledge and practice. In view of the above findings, the study concluded that the knowledge and practice of breast selfexamination among female undergraduates of Joseph Ayo Babalola University is low.
