Abstract
Electrospinning is a simple and versatile method used to manufacture the ultrathin, continuous and uniform nanofibers. In the present investigation this method was used to manufacture bio functional cur cumin nanofibers with applications in medical sciences. Parametric investigation of those nanofibers was determine the parameters that have significant effects on the manufacturing of uniform and ultrathin nanofibers. Polymeric solutions have been prepared by mixing curcumin with Gelatin in concentrated formic acid (HCOOH) for manufacture the curcuminnanofibers. Four critical parameters: distance, flow rate, voltage and viscosity have been taken into consideration to improve the characteristics of nanofibers.
