Abstract |
Generally Liquid Hydro-carbons are being used in our country as Energy source (cooking, transport & Industrial sectors) and the share of Liquid Hydro-carbons as per present pattern of usage is around 40% of the total energy application in various sectors. Although Solar Energy, Wind Power & Atomic Energy are emerging as preferred alternative sources, there is a need to supplement eco- friendly fuels such as Bio-Gas, Natural Gas etc. as substitutes for Liquid HC’s particularly in urban pockets to improve Air Quality and human health standards. Due to high carbon content & lower burning efficiencies in the commercially viable fuel chambers- there is a growing environmental concern to replace the liquid fossil fuels with more efficient & feasible options. This paper aims at finding one of such options in the form of use of re-gasified LNG. | |||||||||
