Abstract
Abstract - Urea phosphate (UP) was included inside the cavity of β-cyclodextrin. The factors affecting that inclusion were studied and the inclusion product was fully analyzed. TiO2nanoparticles were prepared using sol-gel technique and characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM). Cotton fabrics were finished using UP, monochlorotriazinyl β- cyclodextrin (MCT-β-CD) and butane tetracarboxylic acid (BTCA) in presence and absence of TiO2 nanoparticles. The finished fabrics were characterized by measuring Tensile strength and elongation, crease recovery angle (CRA), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and limited oxygen index (LOI). The results obtained indicted that CRA was enhanced and LOI and thermal behavior of finished fabrics were enhance especially in presence of TiO2nanoparticles. Keywords - β-cyclodextrin, monochlorotriazinyl β-cyclodextrin, urea phosphate, TiO2 nanoparticles, butane tetracarboxylic acid, thermal behavior, cotton fabric
