Abstract
With an aging population and growing population of those with disabilities, the obstacle to the physical environment for people with disabilities, the elderly, and infirm has rapidly come to the forefront.This study identified the current status of home modification for people with disabilities by analyzing the specifications and frequency of construction of the households that went through construction to improve the movement in the house and residential convenience under the assistance program for low-income people with disabilities in Seoul from 2009 to 2013. This study analyzed the kitchen. A survey, based on a scale of 1 to 10, was conducted to an expert group on housing for people with disabilities, including the executing agencies of the home-modification program for people with disabilities, research institutes, association of people with disabilities, and academia. Based on the survey results, this study compared and analyzed the produced results of importance and the frequency of Kitchen Renovation.
