Abstract |
This paper contents the necessity to reduce the use of OPC and increase the utilization of Industrial waste like Red mud, Fly Ash & GGBS using Geopolymerization. Technique to overcoming the drawbacks of Red Mud as source material in geopolymer concrete is discussed in this paper. Mix proportion for desirable properties of concrete along with its method of mixing and casting are described. Along with the test results and cost, use Red Mud based Geopolymer is suggested for sustainable construction.
