Abstract
This paper presents the experimental investigation of machining hot work tool steel (AISI H11) with ceramic tools. This work has been performed in order to quantify the effect of various cutting parameters i.e. cutting speed, feed, depth of cut and nose radius on residual stress, surface roughness and tool wear. Two models have been proposed, the first model is regression based and the second one is adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system based. The results obtained by both the models are compared with the actual experimental results and presented.
