Abstract |
In this paper, the study of stabilization of expansive soil was carried out. The soil from the region was lean clay of low plasticity. Fly ash was used as additive and various contents of fly ash were used in the research study. Percentages of 2%, 4% and 6% were used in the study. The index properties and the shear parameters of the undisturbed soil was determined using the prescribed laboratory tests. The soil was then mixed with different contents of fly ash and the shear parameters were then again checked and those results were later compared.
