Abstract |
In this paper we have proposed design for die for producing part namely reinforcement C & E column bottom inner. For producing part various sheet metal processes were which were blanking, forming, blanking etc. But our part only required forming operation. So we designed forming die for that. Firstly tonnage calculations were made for die and according to its press load press was used. After that as per design company manufactured die by using their standard processes. Then final component obtained from die was inspected on inspection panel for dimension constraints and required surface finish. Keywords— Form Die, Inspection panel, Die Design. | |||||||||
