Abstract |
Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC)is a typical commercial binder, whereas in comparison Geopolymer is a sustainable substitute binding material. For the purpose of our study we have produced Geopolymer components using FA(Fly Ash), GGBS and were further reinforced with varying percentages of Recron 3S Fibre which is prolypropylene fibre. The solution used is combination of Na2SiO3 and NaOH and is alkaline in nature. The study deals with effect of heat-curing and ambient-curing on the geopolymer concrete and its repercussions on the physical and mechanical properties.
