Abstract |
This paper deals with the seismic performance of RC wall-frame buildings in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The research described focuses on the seismic vulnerability assessment of this plan-irregular building typology. The uncertainties in a model are considered based on various parameters such as geometrical, material and design parameters. These parameters consist of parameters such as codal provisions, strength of material, height of storey, type of plan and various irregularities. Considering the plan irregularities, the building is modelled and analyzed using non-linear pushover analysis and effects of hinge formation into damage assessment of the structural elements are seen.
