Abstract
The silty sands come from the Yangtze River revetment were utilized to prepare the C20 grade concrete. Effect of the contents of cement, slag, as well as super plasticizer on the strength of the prepared concrete were investigated, respectively. Finally, an optimizing mixing proportion, including 15% cement, 12.62% slag, and 0.268% HLCPS were proposed to produce the C20 grade concrete.
