Abstract |
Several studies of dynamic behavior of road bridges were done lately in the Czech Republic. This paper describes result of one experimental and theoretical study of dynamic behavior of a road bridge. The study was carried out on the composite slab-on-girder bridge, which was damaged by a heavy vehicle. An experimental modal analysis was carried out twice on this bridge – for the damaged state and for the state after its reconstruction, respectively. In addition, the comparison of the modal analysis results for the damaged state and the state after the reconstruction of the composite bridge was done. The FEM model identification was done for both states of this bridge. The experimentally obtained results were compared with theoretically determined modal parameters for both states.
