Abstract
One of the members in the domain of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) technologies is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). It is a fast and reliable means of identifying any object or person. The most important advantage of RFID systems is that it has non-contact and non-line of sight nature. RFID tags can be read through a variety of substances such as snow, fog, ice and other visually and environmental challenging conditions, where barcodes or other optically read technologies could prove to be inefficient. In this project we have experimentally used an RFID system to provide the required security for level 1 documents. This project can be used to provide security for various governmental and corporate organizations, institutes, and in defense applications. This method of security verifies whether the person who is trying to access the secured data is authorized to do so or not. Keywords— RFID Reader, RFID Tags, Python, Authentication, Security.
