Abstract
Abstract - Monitoring the individual and employees’ movements in workplaces and service areas can help admins watch out for any violations that may occur during work hours and help apply some control measures to control the density of people within limited areas. Also, the employees and individual movement patterns will lead to effectively planning the organization's resources. Several technologies including machine learning (ML) and geofencing are applied to develop efficient monitoring, movement pattern estimation, and movement control solutions in workplaces and service areas. This paper presents an innovative solution based on geofencing and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to improve individual movement monitoring, pattern estimation, and control in service areas and workplaces.
