Abstract |
Abstract - In the age of the internet, the number of documents is growing each day, each hour, and each minute. In such an environment the retrieval of the related information is of major concern, we want our data in the shortest interval of time. The objective of the paper is to render the search results in the shortest time. In our tool users can search for any type of file. The idea behind our project is to store the drive and file path in the key-value pair. In this Technique, we are indexing the whole contents which are present in local drives and storing all the pairs. In this application, users can also go for a particular type of document in a particular directory. This paper presents the proposed idea of implementing a tool where it can be used to find a file by using a keyword. The file name will be shown in the output if the given keyword is in the filename or in the file. This paper explains the system architecture of proposed idea, various technologies used for this system and methodology used in the project.
