Abstract
Abstract - Edge detection is helpful for applications in the fields such as fingerprint matching, medical diagnosis, license plate detection, pattern recognition and machine vision. Edge detection technique makes visible to pixels which are high frequency in the image. Edge detection is challenging task. Edge detection becomes more difficult when it must be applied to noisy images. This method based on fuzzy logic edge detection. Method implemented and applied in smooth and noisy medical resonance images. First, human brain image data is collected. Then, filter applied for enhance the images contrast. Moreover, some further developments are implemented to the image, the image’s noise adjustment controlled by fuzzy logic method and make the image more suitable for edge detection application. Finally, the results are compared in terms of performance with other edge detection methods Keywords - Fuzzy logic, Fuzzification, Defuzzification, Edge Detection, Image Processing, Noise Reduction.
