Abstract
This paper deals about how different reservoirs trigger flood and in what way we can detect, predict and safeguard the environment from this disaster. People are confused about the timings of flood, whether they happen at late night or during a bright day. The current available devices are highly expensive and not suitable for outdoor. To identify flood symptoms we need to analyse different factors, which includes temperature - Humidity, water level and Flow level. To gather these parameters distinctive sensors are used. Like for measuring the changes in humidity and temperature DHT11 Sensor is used. The water level of a reservoir is always under observation by Ultrasonic sensor and the flow sensor keeps an eye on the flow rate of water. The main control unit of our project is Arduino UNO, which communicates with all these sensors and transmits the information to a real time offline application which we developed using C# programming language. Keywords - Flood, Arduino UNO, Ultrasonic sensor, Flow sensor, DHT11, C#
