Abstract |
With the emerging trend of SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analysis and Cloud) the need of an hour is changing. As this technology is being adopted by various Industries in almost all the sectors from manufacturing to Production and from IT to Sales, with this the challenge also grows - to provide security to the data and protect the information. As it is very evident that SMAC uses internet as an integral part of its service and would be paralysed if there is any defect (theft of data, data diddling, hacking, loss of information etc.) found in the system, this gives rise to the cyber security policies. In this paper we have made an attempt to recognise different challenges faced by SMAC and how cyber security is important for SMAC, also we have tried to give a SWOT analysis of SMAC technology.
