Abstract
Virtual reality has become an important educational tool due to its ability to place students in immersive, hands-on environments that mimic real-life scenarios or models. This paper outlines the effectiveness of VR as an educational tool and the key learning styles it targets. The benefits of immersive learning for engineering and modeling of dynamical systems is then discussed in conjunction with the development of a virtual reality platform that we implemented to mimic dynamic systems. This platform is both adaptive to student needs and easy to use, ruling out the need to get extensive training to interact with VR systems. Keywords - Virtual Reality, Data Visualization, Immersive Learning.
