Abstract |
Data is now an eminent source of information that can be analyzed to gain knowledge for business enhancement.. With growing importance of data cloud becomes an important alternative for any organization to backup their data because of availability of vast resource pool and cloud providers are trying to provide Data as Service (DaaS).Data storage and recoverability in cloud is also a significant issue. Any type of service interruption due to natural or technical problem may result in significant loss of business revenue or damage business reputation. But data loss and disaster recovery are important issues which is hindering the easy cloud adoption. This paper compares different disaster recovery techniques in cloud environment , and presents a new improved framework for data storage and retrieval which can ensure better reliability and security of data on the cloud and also minimizes the storage cost..
