Abstract |
The purpose of this article is to present a systematic mapping study conducted to discover the current state of the art of the Gamification Design Framework. This study explores more than 992 documents from several digital libraries, that were published from 2009 until the end of 2017. Only 58 candidate documents were selected for a critical comparative analysis based on key patterns specified in this work. The analysis of a multiple and diverse Framework has led to some quality aspects that we can use for the new Gamification Design Framework proposals.
