Abstract
This paper proposes a novel similarity measure based on the quadratic mean operator and collocated with Bevel-projection Difference Averaging operator (BPDA) to solve the similarity measurement problem involving generalized fuzzy numbers. Some properties of similarity measure are proposed, and 57 sets of generalized fuzzy numbers are used to compare the proposed method with the existing similarity measurement method. The results show that the proposed similarity measure is better to the existing method. Index Terms - Generalized Fuzzy Number, Quadratic Mean, Similarity Measure.
