Abstract |
This paper briefly reviews the various studies done in the area of image classification using different algorithms of machine learning. With the increasing number of image data on the internet, it has become a major task while studying the data to classify them accurately. In this paper, different methods used by different researchers for classifying the image datasets have been compared. Different methods include the algorithms using the approach of supervised machine learning such as Support Vector Machine, Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes and Multilayer Perceptron. It has been concluded that in case of the image datasets and their classification, Support Vector Machine gives the most accurate results.
