Abstract |
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are now-a-days very popular in wireless communication. The main characteristics of MANETs are dynamic nature and mobility of node. Due to this reason, it is very difficult to select neighbour node in MANET. In this paper we introduce efficient neighbor selection technique. In this technique each mobile node analysis the three factors before selecting neighbor node. The three factors are scheduling process, signal strength and transmission range. This technique improves the performance of network like throughput, end-to-end delay, reduce overhead etc., in MANET.
