Abstract
Parallel Processing is a technique to maximize the throughput and efficiency of the system. It is a process of executing multiple jobs over multiple processors simultaneously to minimize the overall completion time of all the jobs. Artificial intelligence technique is used to speed up the parallel process. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a bio-inspired algorithm, copies the natural reproduction genetic behavior to execute the tasks. Flower Pollination based optimization (FPBO) algorithm, a nature inspired algorithm, follows the process of pollination of flowers. GA and FPBO algorithms are used to execute the jobs in parallel and their corresponding results are compared. FPBO results better than GA.
