Abstract
In this paper an inventory control problem has been considered in fuzzy environment. In inventory, holding costs, set-up costs etc. may be flexible with vagueness in their values. Fuzzy set theory has been used to convert the fuzzy model into a crisp one. Compensatory operator and weighted compensatory operator have been used to aggregate the fuzzy membership functions corresponding to fuzzy sets for fuzzy objectives & constraints. This aggregation gives the overall achievement function and the model takes the form of a Geometric Programming (GP) Problem. GP algorithm has been used to solve the problem.
