Abstract
Street lighting or Public Street Lighting (PSL) is a public facility that is used for vehicle lighting at night and also has a special purpose to reduce the rate of motor vehicle accidents at night [4]. In general, publicstreetlights damage has not been monitored properly, so a monitoring system is needed that allows the relevant agencies to be able to find out the status or condition of each publicstreetlights effectively. In this study, it is proposed an Implementation of Lora on the Wireless Sensor Network-based PublicStreet Lighting Monitoring System. This system uses the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) method, where each publicstreetlight node is installed with a LoRa module. Communication between PSL nodes is indirectly to the gateway through a node that can function as a router. This system can find out the type of damage to the PSL lamp in real time. To find out the damage to PSL lights, use the web so that officers can easily monitor the work ofpublicstreet lights. The results of this study obtained an average accuracy value of 92.4% for current sensors and 99.35% accuracy for voltage sensors so that officers can find out lamp condition effectively. LoRa performance testing shows that a good distance to transmit data is between 100 to 300 meters under LoS conditions, for NLoS conditions at a distance of 100 to 200 meters. This is evidenced by testing several parameters. In addition, officers can monitor data from detecting damage to PSLs by accessing the web via a browser on the user's device in the form of a laptop.
