Abstract |
Abstract - This survey aims to find different studies and research on software testing. Different types of software testing were explored. Our study was also aimed at finding the benefits and limitation of automated software testing over manual testing and performance of different automation testing tools. Some new innovative ways towards automation testing were also explored which discussed about leveraging computer vision for automation testing and approaches for automating the process of developing automation scripts for testing. Some studies towards discussing about development of high quality and long lasting and automated test cases were also found. The economics revolving around automation testing including different costing models for successfully using automation testing in an organization were also surveyed. We even conducted survey of different strategies and methodologies that can be used to find success while using automation testing in an agile development environment.
