Abstract
In this paper, an indirect adaptive fuzzy controller is presented for synchronization of the fractional order hyper chaotic systems. A new hierarchical type-2 fuzzy neural network (HT2FNN) is proposed for online estimation of unknown functions. The proposed HT2FNN, has less free parameters in contrast to conventional type-2 fuzzy neural networks (T2FNNs) and effectively solves the “curse of dimensionality” problem. The trainable parameters are online tuned based on Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF). The proposed controller is simple, and can be applied to wide class of nonlinear systems.
